Aidon opened Customization Center in Norway

Aidon opened a new logistics hub, Aidon Customization Center (ACC), on 1st September in Norway. The centre is located in Grini Business Park in Østerås, Oslo area. It serves as the logistics hub for the delivery of more than 1.5 million Aidon smart electricity meters which will be deployed in Norway by the end of 2018. By building the new hub, Aidon brings the final assembly of devices close to the customers, to provide flexibility, solid management of material flows and shorter delivery times of tailor-made products. The new Customization Center has capacity to deliver up to 700,000 devices per year.

– By having this local centre we will further improve the satisfaction of Aidon’s customers, and ensure our solid performance in the mass roll-out of meters which is beginning right now, said Thor-Erik Næss, Managing Director of Aidon Norway in the inauguration event which Aidon arranged to celebrate the official opening together with customers and partners.

The first Aidon Customization Center operates in Vantaa, Finland since 2010.
