VänerEnergi chooses Aidon as the provider of next generation’s AMM system
VänerEnergi, a Swedish DSO operating on the area of Mariestad’s and Töreboda’s municipalities and having around 14 000 customers in their grid has chosen Aidon as the provider of the next generation’s smart meters. VänerEnergi carried out the procurement via Sinfra, a national central purchasing body for projects in district heating, water, and electricity.
Ulf Gustafsson, network manager at VänerEnergi, explains why they chose Aidon for the task to replace their 14 000 meters:
– In addition to a cost effective and reliable AMM system we were looking for a modern system which meets the new functional requirements for electricity meters and at the same time helps to reduce the workload of our personnel. We have found Aidon products to be cost efficient with high technical performance.
The decision is very gratifying for Aidon.
– We wish VänerEnergi welcome as Aidon’s new customer and we look forward to being able to create increased customer value together with VänerEnergi in the future, says Fredrik Rex, Aidon’s managing director in Sweden.
